Most meeting-transcription tools work by sending your audio to their servers, or by adding a recording bot to the call. AdjiCera takes the opposite approach: the transcription runs where the meeting happens — on your machine. The audio, the transcript, the summary, and the action items are all written to your device and stay there.
That single architectural choice is what makes it private. There is no cloud copy to leak, no account full of your conversations, and nothing for us to read, sell, or lose — because we never receive it in the first place. The one exception is the optional Prime AI, which sends only the transcript text you choose (never stored).

Why private transcription matters
Most meeting-transcription tools were built on a simple assumption: send the audio to a cloud server, process it there, store the transcript in an account. It works, and it is convenient — but it means your conversations leave your control. Cloud-stored transcripts can be breached, subpoenaed, shared with partners, or analysed for trends. You lose visibility and agency over your own words.
Adding a recording bot to your meeting creates similar friction. It changes the dynamic of the room — everyone knows they are being recorded by an external service, not just a colleague taking notes. It requires admitting an unknown participant, it streams the call to a vendor's servers, and it creates a cloud account you must manage. The bot approach works but feels invasive and adds complexity to every call.
