Install & first run
AdjiCera ships as two Windows editions plus a browser app for calling:
- Student and Professional — download the Windows installer from the download page. Both run entirely on your PC and need no internet to record or transcribe (account, trial activation, and optional Prime need a connection).
- On a Mac — there is no native app yet. Open the web app in Safari or Chrome from the sign-in page to join or host meetings; nothing to install.
- AdjiCera Call — works in any modern browser and in the desktop app.
An account is only needed to start a trial, manage a subscription, unlock optional Prime, or register a Call username. It is email-only — no password.
Record your first lecture or meeting
- Open the app and press Record (or the keyboard shortcut).
- Talk — or let the class or meeting run. There’s no fixed limit — we’ve tested sessions up to three hours.
- Press Stop. Within seconds you have a speaker-labelled transcript on your device.
Students also get AI study notes, flashcards, a quiz, and a concept map. Professionals get topic chapters, action items with owners, a drafted follow-up email, and meeting analytics. All of it is generated locally — no meter, no API key.
Create & join a call
AdjiCera Call is how you talk to people in real time, in the browser or the desktop app.
- Register with an email and pick a public username. Usernames are first come, first served.
- Call or message contact to contact — type someone’s username and their app rings.
- Or share an invite link. The secret that encrypts the call rides in the link’s fragment, the part browsers never send to a server, so only someone with the full link can join — and we cannot read the call.
- Group calls — invite several people to the same room.
Join from your phone
Native mobile apps are on the roadmap, not out yet. To join a call from a phone today, open the invite link in your mobile browser — the call runs in the browser, so no install is required. Recording on the go will come with the mobile apps; for now, recording lives on your PC or Mac.
Recording, storage & consent
Every recording — a Student lecture, a Professional meeting, or a call you record in AdjiCera Call — is written to your own device only. Nothing is uploaded to us. That also means we cannot recover, view, or delete a recording for you; only you can.
Consent is your responsibility. Starting a recording in AdjiCera Call requires confirming an on-screen notice that all participants have been informed and have consented. Recording laws vary by state and some require every party’s consent — see the Terms of Service for the details you are agreeing to.
Transcription, summaries & export
Transcription, speaker identification, and every study or meeting artifact are produced on your device. You can copy or save the transcript, the notes, and the drafted follow-up email straight from the app.
Optional Prime cloud AI can polish generated output. It sends only the text you choose to a third-party AI provider through our servers, stores nothing, and is off unless you turn it on. Every core feature works without it.

Deleting your data
- Recordings & transcripts — delete them inside the app or from your file system. They live on your machine, so only you can remove them.
- Voice profiles — open Add Voices in the app and use the remove button on a person’s row.
- Your account — delete it from dashboard settings. That revokes Prime, unpairs your devices, and removes your account record. It does not touch the files on your computer.
- Privacy requests — email support@adjicera.com to access, correct, or delete the information we hold.
