Yours alone
Local meeting recorder
Record any meeting straight to your own device. The audio, the transcript, and the notes are saved on your computer — never in someone else’s cloud.
Cloud meeting tools store your recordings in their account, on their servers, under their retention rules. AdjiCera records locally instead. Hit record before the meeting starts and, when you stop, the finished transcript, action items with owners, a follow-up email draft, topic chapters, and analytics are all generated on your device.
Nothing is uploaded to us. That means the recordings are genuinely yours — you decide where they live, who sees them, and when they are deleted. Even deleting your account leaves your files untouched, because they were never ours to hold. The one exception is the optional Prime AI, which sends only the transcript text you choose (never stored).
Saved on your device
Audio, transcript, and notes are written locally. We never receive them.
You own the files
Keep, export, or delete them yourself — no vendor account holding your history.
No time meter
No per-minute cloud cost and no built-in recording cap. Length is bounded by your disk space.
Why local recording matters
Cloud-based recording platforms have created a new problem: vendor lock-in. Your recordings live in someone else's account, under their retention rules, subject to their pricing changes. If you need to delete them, they decide when that happens. If you want to move to another platform, the files stay behind. You no longer own your own meetings.
Recording locally on your device solves this entirely. The files are yours from day one. You decide where they live, who can access them, when they are deleted, and how long you keep them. Even if you stop using AdjiCera, your recordings remain on your computer untouched. You never lose access, and you never pay a per-minute cloud cost for the privilege of storing your own data.
For teams working in regulated environments — healthcare, legal, financial, government — local recording is often required by compliance frameworks. HIPAA, GDPR, and other standards mandate that sensitive data stay under your control. Cloud recording services add audit complexity because you must verify their data practices and trust their security. Local recording eliminates that audit burden. The data is on your hard drive, secured by your existing IT controls, and never transmitted to a third party.
Beyond compliance, local recording is simply cheaper and more flexible. There is no monthly per-seat cost, no per-minute charge, no storage meter running. Record a multi-hour seminar, a series of one-on-one check-ins, or a long training session — the only limit is your disk space, which you already own.
